Dr. Geet Oberoi
Dr. Geet Oberoi, founder of Orkids Foundation, has a doctorate in efficacy of remedial intervention in Specific Learning Disabilities. She has over 25 years’ experience in the field of special education. Her main areas of work include assessment and remediation to children with special needs and professional development courses primarily for instructors. In recent years she has delved in research to enhance the concept of inclusion in the Indian education system. She was awarded the Guruvar Award for “Outstanding Indian Teacher of Children with special needs” in Jan 2010 and “Women Achiever Award” 2012, where she was felicitated for working committedly in the field of special education. She has also developed First Screen, a screening app for Specific Learning Disabilities.

Ms Mahima Bhalla
Mahima is a special educator and a learning experience designer with a focus on implementing inclusive education for students with disabilities in K-12 schools. She holds an Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation and Education from Harvard University, and an M.Sc. in Human Development and Childhood Studies from Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi. Her interest areas in Education include diversity and inclusion, UDL, ed-tech, games for learning, children’s literature and media, and social-emotional learning. In her ideal world, every learner (with disability/learning differences) has access to quality education where they feel included, valued & happy, and where the growth and learning of each and every student is given as much importance.
Ms Prabhsahay Kaur
Prabhsahay Kaur is an independent litigator practicing in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court of India with over 11 years’ experience. Over the years, she has been appointed Standing Counsel for DDA, Additional Standing Counsel for Govt of NCT Delhi and Counsel for the NDMC. She has also been associated with Sh. Kailash Satyarthi’s, organization Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA) as their retained counsel in the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court. Even though she has been handling a diverse range of key matters, her focus has remained in human rights work, child rights and disability laws, particularly with respect to children with special needs.
Dr. Surbhi Kumar
Dr. Surbhi Kumar is an Assistant Professor in Psychology at Indraprastha College for Women with a PhD in Psychology from University of Delhi. She specializes in Applied Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Research. She has been engaged as a Resource Person with SOS Children’s Village Projects in areas of character building, alternate disciplining methods, emotional well-being, social skills and positive youth development. She has to her credit numerous national & international publications and presentations and has supervised many research projects.
Dr. Anushka Chaudhary
Dr. Anushka Choudhary holds a Masters in Applied Psychology with specialization in counselling from the prestigious Tata Institute of Social Sciences. She specialises in conflict resolution, managing anxiety and depression, marital counselling, and life goals planning – structuring and execution. She has more than four years’ experience in providing therapy to adolescent girls and youth. She has previously worked with Efterskole Welfare Society, a residential school for girls that provide education and counselling to girls who are unable to pass their 10th board exams for various reasons. Currently, she is working with B2R Technologies, to provide employment to the rural youth of Uttarakhand to prevent migration to cities.
Ms Shweta Khanna Bhutani
Shweta Khanna Bhutani is a child development professional working in the field of disability, education, teacher training and children’s mental health for the last 10 years. She has a vast experience in developing modules and facilitating sessions with teachers, parents and children on life skills education, emotional well-being, parenting concerns and inclusion of children with disabilities. Her qualifications include a diploma in child guidance and counselling, a master’s degree in psychology, and an MPhil. in Perspectives on Inclusive Education from University of Cambridge, UK.
Dr. Kanika Chaturvedi
Dr Kanika Chaturvedi is an Occupational Therapist and the Founder Director of GSB Physio and Occupational Therapy Centre based in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. She is a gold medallist from Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay IPH (University of Delhi) from where she completed her Masters in Paediatric Occupational Therapy and is also a certified Oral Placement Therapist. Working in the field of paediatric and developmental difficulties for over a decade, she was formerly associated with schools like DPS Sushant Lok and Modern School Vasant Vihar. Dr. Kanika is an effective, active and insightful listener and strongly believes in providing clinical services based on goals that are meaningful to both child and family.
